Calender of Events

These events are hosted to bring the world of science closer to learners and students, making them aware of the different careers they can pursue in the petroleum sector. Upstream Training Trust plays a major role in this objective of informing learners, educators and students about natural sciences especially petroleum geology. This is an important opportunity to talk to geologists, asks questions, inquire about the bursary and funding. Most students were unaware that South Africa has its own Upstream Petroleum Industry. So they are informed that indeed South Africa has a Petroleum industry and they get to know the roles that both the Upstream Training Trust and Petroleum Agency SA play in this industry.

We encourage learners and educators to visit our exhibitions and get an opportunity to see different types, hear about how oil and gas is formed and anything relating to the petroleum industry.
